There is an opinion that gardening or horticulture is a passion of older people or those who, since childhood, have a special desire for the land. But this has changed a lot, because now these activities are increasingly practiced by many other people, who have learned to enjoy both nature and the cultivation of vegetables and fruits with their own hands.

People who for the first time in their lives have the opportunity to grow something with their own hands can begin to gain experience in gardening by growing, for example, parsley. As soon as it is harvested for the first time, they will feel the thrill of having succeeded and in the next season there will be a desire to further expand their land by planting other vegetables.

From that moment on, everything will go by itself. That is, the variety of its production will be even greater and could include many more fruits and vegetables, logically, depending on the space available for planting. The appetite of a novice gardener will depend mainly on the amount of space available.

In that sense, we want to share with you some tips for beginner gardeners:

  1. It is important to have fun. After throwing a small seed into the ground, the first sprout that appears will become a great joy for the enthusiastic gardener. In addition, with daily observation, the fact of its gradual development and formation into a full-fledged plant will be determined. For the gardener, not only the result of his work is of special interest. Nothing should interfere with the enjoyment of the process. Without love for nature in general and for cultivated plants in particular, it is difficult to get positive emotions from his hobby. When working on the ground, there are also certain costs: dirt under the nails or dry skin of hands, however, in this matter, you can always find a solution in the form of special hygiene products and devices, cream and gloves.
  2. Do not be afraid of making mistakes. Anyone who has not been involved in growing plants before, should not be afraid to make a “disaster”. If he has a strong desire to learn, the novice gardener should read the necessary information and start planting.
  3. You must be sure to properly distribute your forces. An attitude appropriate to his abilities will allow the novice gardener to distribute forces evenly and avoid over-fatigue. He should not take up everything at once. The species planted should be increased gradually with the arrival of each following season.
  4. Composting should not be skipped. Organic farming involves the use of only natural fertilizers, including compost. Having allocated a certain place for such a business, you can place the cut grass and weeds removed from the beds, unnecessary tops and cleaning vegetables there. For better ripening is allowed to use bacterial ripening accelerators. All this together forms a useful organic fertilizer for soil fertility.
  5. All actions must be performed deliberately. The mass of sometimes contradictory information published on the Internet, with its thoughtless use, can nullify all the efforts of the gardener. Therefore, getting acquainted with articles that sometimes represent opposing views of their authors, one must once again think what to do in this or that case.
  6. Experiments should not be avoided. Personal experience is the most invaluable thing you can gain from your gardening hobby. Listening to the advice of other beginner gardeners, you should not refuse to conduct their own experiments. Empirically, you can learn much more about growing plants and flowers in Tenerife, if you notice in a timely manner all the changes that occur to them during the development of the plant and fruit ripening.
